eGK KAMS / IDP

Do you issue an insurance card to your insured persons today and want to issue an electronic health card (eGK), but do not want to operate your own card management system? This is where the Worldline eGK KAMS (KAMS) service from our company can help you. The Worldline eGK KAMS is designed to integrate seamlessly with your existing card issuance processes. The existing data, enriched with the information required for the eGK, is prepared in KAMS and transferred to the card producer and sender of your choice. You have control over the status of card production, as you are actively communicated the status of card production until dispatch.The Worldline KAMS service is operated in a data center in Germany by Worldline with its own staff. The service is scalable, as it can be used from pure card production to automatic card updates when used by the insured with individual runtimes. Based on the experience with Worldline eGK KAMS since 2006, Worldline has extensive and in-depth knowledge in card production and application operation. Optionally, the necessary certificates for the eGK can also be provided by Worldline through its own partner network.

In the future, this service will be complemented by a sector identity provider (IDP) after its product approval. Both services can be used together or independently of each other. With digital identity, insurance companies will enable their policyholders to identify themselves digitally with their cell phones or other mobile devices in applications or with service providers in the future. With the IDP service, Worldline will provide a pioneering service that, alone or in addition to the CAMS service, will increase convenience for your customers while providing investment protection. In the traditional world of insurance, proof of insurance was usually provided by showing a card. Starting with the health insurance card(KVK) followed by the electronic health card (eGK), the next step is digital identity. It is a supplement to the existing proof of insurance and will replace it in the future. This step into the digital age brings with it new functions and opportunities. With the digital identity, not only is a simple proof of insurance possible, but access to a comprehensive world of applications has also been created. Access to e-prescription, electronic patient record (ePA) or digital health applications are just a small step on this path.

Worldline has been developing and operating identity providers both according to gematik specifications and outside the world of telematics infrastructure for more than a decade. Its experience in secure data center operations, product approval and operations comes into play here. In addition to the actual identity provider, Worldline's solution also includes the provision of various registration procedures, ranging from the use of the eGK and the new ID card to support for on-site identification. Additional procedures, such as Video-Ident or Robo-Ident, can be integrated at any time upon customer request. For a quick start, Worldline provides a white-label app. For integration into existing mobile applications, the use of existing SDKs is an option.
